Pop Culture?
Ok, so I was doing a celebrity date thing on facebook and had no idea who my result was (Vanessa Hudgens, who can be seen left :p ). There were a lot of other peoples results in my live feed, none of which I recognised either. I’m starting to wonder if I am really out of touch with this kind of news, as I tend to absorb myself in gaming/gadgets, and find that new music, film, and other such forms of media go completely unnoticed. Is this bad? Should I be worried? Or is the attention span of the Britain shortened to the point where I simply can’t keep up?
If you read this then thanks for letting me rant at you via the wonder of tumblr (I’m going for broke with rhymes :p )
Sean.
This was slightly hard to read because Vanessa is a babe haha. However, I think you’ll find a lot of people won’t know who they are either, and I wouldn’t say you should be worried. You prefer to surround yourself with what’s comfortable to you, whereas I’m a junkie for news and pop culture. If I don’t know someone or something that well I’ll research it and I think that’s more worrying :P
Hmm, I find it hard enough keeping up with the news I actually do read that it’s tricky to be up-to-date on everything else. Fortunately I dislike most modern music and film so it’s not a big deal for me. Also, I have you and my other friends to recommend anything new that I would appreciate :)
